Environment Modules
The HPC does not rely on OS distro’s packages the OS distribution's package repositories for the software as the package is limited to one single version only. The HPC employs Environment Modules for managing packaging with multiple version support. To setup to use module, as they typically provide only a single version of each package. Instead, the HPC uses Environment Modules to manage software with support for multiple versions. To set up modules, export the following variable in the your .bashrc file (and remember to source the file again):
